OIL PAINTING FROM A PHOTO

I can create an oil painting from your photo or a video.
My way of painting is combining the traditional with contemporary, to really bring the painting to life. I usually work in a loose and spontaneous style, yet keeping some areas well defined – a winning combination that doesn’t just replicate the photo you already have.

I have decades long experience with painting various subjects, from portraits to landscape, and use everything I learned to create the best painting of your wedding or any other special moment.

MATERIALS

My paintings are made to last. I paint with oils on a board, or stretched canvas primed it with multiple layers using quality acrylic gesso and final layers of a high quality oil ground. I paint with the top quality artist oil paints, using brushes and pallet knives to add texture. All the colours that I use are very stable and should’t fade or change.

The painting is finished with a layer of special varnish that protects your painting and gives it a finished look.

THE PRICE

The price depends on size, typically 16 x 12″ unframed painting would cost £300. Please contact me if you would like more information or a quote.
