Before all the business stuff…

…let me say that I draw and paint for joy and I want my art to bring joy. It really matters to me that you are happy with your sketchbook and I do everything to maintain a good relationship with my clients. If you have any questions or you are unsure about anything to do with the sketching itself or how the process works, payment or shipping, please contact me. For me, sketching at your event is not just a matter of business, each drawing is done with love and care.

Payment methods

I offer several payment methods, PayPal, bank transfer or payment by card when we meet in person. PayPal and payment by card will give you the extra level of security and the payment is done right away. You don’t need to have a PayPal account to pay by Paypal; credit and debit cards are accepted with this payment method as well, just click on Check out as guest button when you get to the PayPal page. If you pay by card in person you will receive a receipt.


If you would like to secure your booking, £50 booking fee will be required. This booking fee is refundable up to 21 days before the wedding/event in case my services are no longer required. The booking fee is not extra and will be deducted from the full price.
A 50% deposit will be payable 21 days before the event (minus the £50 booking fee).
The accommodation and travel expenses (if applicable) need to be paid 21 days before the event the latest.
In case the deposit is not paid in time, your booking will be canceled, unless we have agreed otherwise.

Full payment

You can either choose to pay the whole price including the deposit before your wedding, or you can pay the remaining 50% after your wedding. Please note that the full price needs to be paid before your sketchbook is sent to you, so if your payment is late I might need to wait before I send you your sketchbook.


Cancellation by me (the artist)
The client will get a full refund of the money he already paid for my services. I don’t wish to let anyone down, so I will not cancel a booking unless there are very serious reasons to do so.

Cancellation by the client BEFORE the event:

  • Only booking fee was paid – the client will get a refund if cancelled up to 21 days before the wedding.
  • The 50% deposit was paid:
    Cancellation up to 21 days before the wedding – the client will get a full deposit refund
    Cancellation up to 14 days before the wedding – the client will get a 25% refund of the deposit
  • The full price was paid before the event:
    Cancellation up to 21 days before the wedding – the client will receive a full refund
    Cancellation up to 14 days before the wedding – the client will get a 75% refund of the full price
    Cancellation less than 14 days before the wedding – the client will get a 50% refund of the full price they have paid.
  • Travel expenses:
    Cancellation up to 21 days before the wedding – the travel expenses will be refunded in full
    Cancelation less than 21 days before the wedding – I can’t guarantee a full refund of the the travel expenses as some travel arrangement and booking might have already been made, however, I will refund as much as possible.

Any refunds will be issued within 14 day after the service was cancelled, paid to the client’s bank account.


Unless we arrange otherwise, £11 will be charged for delivering your sketchbook within the UK (mainland).

If your sketchbook needs to be delivered, it will be carefully packed with plenty of bubble wrap to protect it and is shipped within 10 days after your wedding (provided the full price for my services was paid), unless other arrangements are made or further services were agreed on that might mean delaying making your sketchbook. I use Royal Mail for all deliveries; the parcel is always insured and tracked all the way to you.

Return policy

First of all, if there are any problems please always contact me first, I am sure we will be able to come to a fair agreement. It very much matters to me that you, as my client, are happy with my services.

If the sketchbook arrives damaged please don’t open the parcel and let me know right away. If you find there is something wrong with your sketchbook, you have 14 days to return it, the postage is paid by the buyer. Fully tracked and insured postage is required in case there would be any problems with the delivery. If it’s something I can fix I will do my best to do so. Taken into account you would have already seen and chosen the sketches that go in your sketchbook, only 50% of the full price will be refunded in case of return, the remaining 50% is to cover my expenses and time. No returns will be accepted later than 14 days after the sketchbook has been delivered.
