The ALL DAY PLATINUM package has everything I have to offer AND some delightful additions after the wedding: the Story of your Wedding and hours of guest portraits for those waiting times when your guests might not have a lot to do. You will also get an oil painting afterwards and not just the original sketch album, but two additional ones with prints, to give as presents to your family. (more can be added for extra fee).

I will be there for you all day, doing a combination of live sketching, sketches from photos and guest portraits. It’s the perfect setup for the day, capturing your story through sketches, and providing fun for your guests (and you!) having their portraits done.

Some of the candid sketches will be done on the day and some later, after the wedding, to make the most out of every minute and ensure that all those precious memories are captured for you to enjoy in the years to come!

SO WHAT IS INCLUDED EXACTLY?

Telling your Story though Sketches

The “story of your wedding” part captures all important moments of the day. Some of the sketches will be done live and some will be added later, from photos. I don’t like rushing the drawing, and at the same time I want to capture all that is important to you. You will get about 15 sketches, depending on how much time you would like me to dedicate to this part (negotiable).

You will get to chose which moments I include in the story, I can start in the morning with the bride/groom preparation or later, depending on your preference.

After the wedding I will bind the sketches into a personalised, hand-bound album, made especially for you. This gives you your own, unique, illustrated book of your wedding. You will also get two additional albums with prints to give as presents to your family.

These sketches are always drawn on archival quality watercolour paper, with ink and watercolours.

The sketches will also be scanned and uploaded to a password protected online gallery, allowing you to download the digital version and order additional prints. You can share this gallery with your family and friends, of course.

guest portraits

Guest portraits provide an entertainment and fun for your guests, and they also give them something that lasts, something very personal, as a lovely reminder of your wedding. It’s very important to me to achieve a good likeness, no matter what style you choose.

I offer guest portraits in several different styles, including a fun and fast Quentin Blake inspired style. The choice will be entirely up to you.

How the portraits are done

You can chose the best way for your wedding:

PORTRAITS ON PAPER
Traditional way, ink and watercolour on an archival quality paper. Your guests will take their portraits back with them.
PAPER + DISPLAY AND SCAN
Traditional way, ink and watercolour on an archival quality paper plus a digital scanned version afterwards.
DIGITAL PORTRAITS
Digital portraits hand-drawn on my tablet. I can send them to your guests’ mobiles or an email address when finished, and upload them to an online gallery to view and download right away or later.

OIL PAINTING

An oil painting from a wedding photo of your choice, done after the wedding.

This would typically be the bride or the couple, special moment etc… I am happy to assist you in choosing which one of your photos would work the best for an oil painting, capturing this special memory in the way you can enjoy looking at years down the line. If we are able to talk before the wedding I can give you tips and suggestions for the photo.

I paint on board or linen canvas. The oil painting included in this package is 14 x 18″ and is unframed. I can arrange framing for an additional cost (the cost depends on the type of frame you would like). If you would like a larger painting it’s no problem, you would just need to pay the difference between the two sizes.

My way of painting is combining the traditional with contemporary, to really bring the painting to life. I usually work in a loose and spontaneous style, yet keeping some areas well defined – a winning combination that doesn’t just replicate the photo you already have.

I have decades long experience with painting various subjects, from portraits to landscape, and use all my knowledge and skill I learned over the years to create the best painting of your wedding, or any other special moment. More info about oil painting

I pride myself in delivering quality. There will be some waiting time for the additional sketches after the wedding if in high season, but I promise it will be worth the wait!

There are no hidden costs or expenses and I always offer a signed service agreement.
